Give thanks for your comics creators!

Hi. Hope you're having a good holiday. Just wanted to take time out to enlighten you to a few orginizations that really help out some of your favorite comic creators and more. One is the Hero Initiative which provides aid to comic artist, writers, and other creators of titles since the Golden Age. As we all know, artists rarely recieve the kind of true credit they deserve for their creations, so the H.I. tries to assist them financially. They accept donations, and also raise funds by selling exclusive artwork and limited edition comic books.

Another group that greatly helps the rights of comics creators is the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. They provide legal assistance to artist, publishers, retailers, and even comics collectors too. They accept donations, and you can become an active members.

Mini-Komix current new location!

Hi. We've temporarily moved our online location to this blog, because we're currently remodeling the regular Mini-Komix site. We'll have this one up to be able to purchase some of our new titles, plus updates too. After the regular site is finished, we'll keep this blog open as an ongoing journal.

Mini-Komix is an independent publisher of mini-comic books, artist's sketchbooks, and graphic novels. We work directly with the comics creators on publishing out their work. Sometimes its done as its own title, while other times its part of an anthology, like Thought Balloon which is our generic anthology graphic novel series. We print out most of our self-published titles. But for cases involving graphic novels, prestige formatting, and some color comics, we either go through a different printer or allow the comics creators to print them on their own while still having the comic under our label. We print in both color and black & white. For most of our in-house publications, they are done in either black & white or greyscale. Most of the colored comics are done by different printers, although we still do the editing. We distribute most of our comics online through our store, as well as make them available through several different retailers and comics sellars. Anyone wishing to become one of our distributors, please contact us.
