Lady Satan: The First Black Anti-Heroine

First appearing in Psycho and Scream magazines in 1973, Lady Satan was the premiere African-American comic book anti-heroine! Anne Jason is a debutante who travels out to the town of Salem, and is accosted by a demonic cult that have her possessed by the spirit of the witch, Black Anne. Anne now changes between her human and vampiric demon form, using her newfound powers to try and stop the Devil's plans to release the Anti-Christ! Beastly Bronze Age battles with this hellish heroine! This is now available for download at Drive Thru Comics, and as part of the Black Comics Matter bundle.

Super Soul Comix
